Return@Capgemini – SAP Technical Consultants
Programme: 6 month returnship, flexible working
Capgemini UK recognise that the transition from a long career break back into the workplace can be challenging. This is why 2017 saw them launch the Return@Capgemini Programme to bring talented professionals into the organisation.
Their six month “returnship” programme is targeted at those who’ve had a significant career break (usually more than a couple of years), and gives meaningful experience, with the wraparound of coaching and mentoring support, and a community of others in the same situation. They want to find the right people to work with them, and they know that standard working patterns aren’t right for everyone. So their commitment to you is that if you’re the right person for an opportunity with them, they’ll find a way of working to suit you.
Who are they looking for?
Capgemini typically recruits across a number of disciplines, but is currently focussing on a great opportunity in their Treforest office near Cardiff for returners who want to come into their SAP team. They’re looking for people with some previous experience and/ or a technical background in SAP whether it’s core development (ABAP, GW), mobile (UI5, SMP, Fiori), integration (PO) or platforms (BASIS, HANA, S4). When you start with them, they will leverage your skills to expand their capability whilst cross training you in new areas to expand your skillsets.
With more than 180,000 people in over 40 countries, Capgemini is a truly a global organisation. They are a recognised leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing services. They help organisations across the world become more agile, more competitive and more successful. Smart, tailored, often ground-breaking business, technical and digital solutions to complex problems are the norm. But so, too, is a culture that’s as collaborative as it is forward thinking. Working closely with each other, and with their clients, they get under the skin of businesses and to the heart of their goals, enabling their customers to achieve innovation and competitiveness in an ever changing digital world.
