RBS has launched its ComeBack programme for 2016 aimed at senior professionals who have taken a career break and are looking to get back to work. The programme, which starts in September 2016, offers six 12-week paid returnships, across London and Edinburgh providing up to date experience, practical coaching and networking opportunities.

As part of the ComeBack programme, you will be supported through a range of training, as well as thorough personalised and group coaching and a range of seminars. You will have a dedicated team mentor during the programme and will join networking events to gain exposure to senior leaders and other stakeholders. Subject to the returnship programme being a success for both the participant and the business, there is a possibility of all roles transitioning into permanent positions.

What you’ll bring

You will have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, especially those in senior management, and will show a willingness to learn new ways of working.

RBS are looking for people who are really motivated to get back in to the work place, who can hit the ground running and rise to the challenge. You’ll be a pro-active, quick thinker, with excellent problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively to establish strong working and networking relationships are key.

Who they are looking for

The ComeBack programme is aimed at people who have been on a voluntary career break for 12 months or more, who have a desire to return to work, and who have been operating at Senior Manager level prior to their career break.
