O2 Career Returners
Applications for the 2016 programme are now closed
O2 has launched the O2 Career Returners Programme for professionals who are ready to re-start their careers after an extended career break. The paid 11 week programme starts on 26th April 2016 and the closing date for applications is 6th March 2016. The programme will be based from Slough, UK.
What are they offering?
You will receive mentoring, training and an opportunity to network. This support will help you get back in the swing of things so at the end of the programme you will be perfectly placed to apply for permanent or interim roles at O2. They are open to applications from people who are looking for full time roles or 4 days a week, and as an organisation are flexible in their working patterns.
Who are they looking for?
The O2 Career Returners Programme is designed for people with a successful track record in a relevant field who have had a voluntary career break of 2 or more years.
With over 25 million customers, O2 runs 2G, 3G and 4G networks across the UK. They are looking for people with an interest in the following areas. If you have some but not all of this experience then do apply anyway as, where necessary, training may be provided.
- Technical experience of cellular networks or technical skills in either a telecoms or a managed service provider
- Experience with network tools
- Technical appreciation of network monitoring tools
Service Management run and drive improvements in O2’s services, with customer experience at the heart of everything they do. They are looking for people with a background in customer experience and an interest in any one of the following areas. If you have experience in a related area then do apply anyway as, where necessary, training may be provided.
- Customer Project Managers
- PMO/ Project co-ordinators
- Service Delivery/ Relationship Managers
- Service Managers
