Mazars, one of Europe’s largest audit and accountancy firms and a top ten UK player, is partnering with Women returners to offer 16-week returnship opportunities across their UK business. In addition to placements within accounting, tax and audit, they are also looking for financial planners, payroll professionals, forensics experts and more.
The Mazars Returnship Programme, open to professionals with a career break of 12 months or more, will enable you to get back up to speed and flourish in a supportive environment.
What can you expect from the programme?
- The programme offers a professionally paid placement for 16-weeks which will equip you with the skills, knowledge and experience to develop, with the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the programme
- Positions are available for manager level and above
- You will benefit from the Career Returners Coaching Programme delivered by Women Returners to help with your transition back into the workplace
- As part of a programme cohort, you’ll have a ready-made network of other returners
- Mazars will partner you with a professional mentor and buddy to support your return to work and help you to develop your internal professional network
- Flexible working options are available depending on the role

Tax: including corporate, employment, personal and international.
Audit: a full range of audit, reporting, actuarial, corporate governance, risk management and transaction support
Financial Planning: Recognised by the FT Adviser as one of the Top 5 firms in the UK for Financial Planning, their full-service, Financial Planning business is made up of Investment Managers, Certified Financial Planners, and Personal Tax experts.
Consulting: including strategy, risk, people and technology (cybersecurity, data protection, data management, IT audit, IT operations and forensic technologies)
Outsourcing: including compliance, payroll and finance
Financial Advisory: including deal advisory, funding, valuations, global infrastructure, forensic investigations and national creditor services.
Who are they looking for?
Mazars is looking for candidates who have previously worked at manager level or above prior to their career break.
For accountancy, tax and audit roles candidates should have ACA, ACCA, CA, CTA qualification or equivalent.
In addition to qualifications and experience, Mazars is looking for candidates who have experience of building strong and enduring relationships and are great team players.
