Mazars Returner Programme
Mazars has two exciting 3 month placement opportunities to work across its tax and accounting services teams. The positions will be located in their Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.
How will you benefit from the programme?
Mazars is partnering with Women Returners on this cross company Returners to Financial Services Scotland Programme funded by the Scottish Government, offering a professionally paid placement of 3 months, from April to July 2018. Positions are professional level roles across Tax and Accounting Services, and will be located in Mazars’ Edinburgh and Glasgow offices. The programme will equip you with the skills, knowledge and experience to enable you to apply for permanent roles at end of programme.
You will receive internal mentoring, together with coaching support from Women Returners to help you to transition successfully back into the workplace. As coaching support will be delivered centrally, you will benefit from a large supportive peer network.
Flexible working options may be available during and after the programme depending on the role.
Office hours: 9am to 5:15pm (1 hour lunch break), Monday to Friday
Mazars have one placement opportunity in their Glasgow office and one placement opportunity in their Edinburgh office. Office addresses:

Who are they looking for?
Professionals with a relevant tax and/or financial accounting services background who have taken a career break of 18 months or more.
Desired qualifications, skills and experience:
- ACA, ACCA, CA, CTA qualification or equivalent
- Experience of tax compliance services &/or outsourced finance services
- Experience of building strong and enduring relationships with key clients as part of key account management
- Great team player – extensive experience of working as part of a team
- Willingness to develop leadership skills
- Significant experience of developing project plans and ensuring deadlines are met
