Creating a diverse and inclusive Home Office is imperative to achieving their objectives. They recognise the value of difference and want to establish an inclusive, flexible and values-based Home Office for those who work there and for the communities in which they serve.

The Department is currently going through a period of exciting transformation and change. As a key Government department, they now have a number of exciting opportunities to bring in a wider range of diverse talents. They are looking for people to lead on project/assignments within these key areas: HR, Policy, Operational, Digital and Strategy.

To support their current Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, and their core Values, they particularly welcome applicants from groups currently under-represented in senior roles within the Home Office, including returners (defined as people who have been out of the workplace for more than two years), as well as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates, people with disabilities and LGBT.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals to place themselves at the very centre of change. You will be committed to your own growth as a leader, in return they will support you with family friendly flexible working and a programme of development opportunities, so why not get in touch today.

Who are they looking for?

To help the Home Office to deliver on their ambitious programme of work, they are looking for innovative leaders with experience of influencing senior stakeholders in what can be a complex, fast paced and challenging work environment.

You will be concerned about fairness and social justice, value a flexible work culture, while having experience of negotiating and being comfortable challenging senior colleagues and other stakeholders. Many of the programmes are delivered at pace, however the Home Office places a high value on collaborative and consultative decision-making.
