EY Reconnect – Transactions Financial Services

EY, one of the leading international professional services firms, is now inviting candidates with a Transactions background to apply for their newly launched career returner programme, EY Reconnect. Women Returners is partnering with EY to provide a route back into business for talented individuals at Manager level and above, with varied, strong commercial backgrounds in Financial Services. The programme is designed for people who have been on a career break for between 2 and 10 years.

What are they offering?

The Transactions team provides a great opportunity to join a growing successful team. EY will bring you into their business for a paid period of 12 weeks, starting in September 2016. You will work on client projects, drawing from your previous experience, skills and knowledge; at the end of the programme you will have the opportunity to apply to join EY permanently. You will be given support in this role to succeed, with a thorough induction, coaching from Women Returners, and mentoring. EY Reconnect offers a cross-service line returner programme which provides the opportunity for participants to interact and build relationships with like-minded people in other areas of the business.

Who are they looking for?

They particularly welcome applications from individuals who have previously worked in Financial Services – banking, insurance asset management or similar – with experience in one or more of the following:

  • Business modelling
  • Valuations
  • Financial, operational, IT or commercial due diligence
  • Bank restructuring
  • M&A
  • IPO/Capital Markets
  • Transaction strategy
