Who is Express Solicitors?

Express Solicitors Ltd is a leading national personal injury firm established in 2000. They pride themselves in the work they do helping injured people. They cover every area of personal injury including public liability, occupier’s liability, road traffic accidents, employer’s liability, industrial disease, serious injuries and clinical negligence matters.

Express Solicitors is LEXCEL, APIL and Law Society accredited and six of their Partners are members of the Law Society Specialist Personal Injury Panel. They are committed to continuous improvement of their product, processes and their people.  They currently represent over 10,000 injured clients.

Women Returners is partnering with Express Solicitors Ltd in Northenden, Manchester, with the aim of helping qualified lawyers re-enter the legal profession after a career break.  This is the first programme of its type for the legal industry in England and Wales, and Express Solicitors is proud to be part of such an important initiative.

Opportunities available

A variety of roles are available from a Litigation Assistant (paralegal) role supporting a fee earner, to File Handling roles in your own right. Dependent on experience;

Who are they looking for?

Express Solicitors is particularly interested in applicants with civil litigation experience and interest in personal injury. They welcome applications from qualified and non-qualified legal professionals.

If you have a desire to help injured people, strong communication skills, excellent organisation and time management skills with a positive attitude and ambition to succeed, Express Solicitors would like to hear from you.

What they are offering

Express Solicitors hopes to offer permanent roles at the end of the programme due to the strong growth levels of the Company.

They offer a competitive salary and benefits package as well as excellent IT training and can help returners assimilate in the role.

A degree of flexibility is possible. They generally seek a minimum of 4 days a week and ideally 5 days a week. They can be flexible regarding set hours during the 6 month returnship period.

08:30 to 17:30, Monday to Thursday. 08:30 to 17:00 Friday.

Full transition support will be provided with an internal mentor, buddy, Career Returners Coaching support from Women Returners and access to training from The Law Society.
