Career Returners: BBC Design + Engineering launched their first returner programme in January 2019. Tapping into a relatively untouched talent pool of highly skilled individuals that has too long been overlooked; they’ve helped some highly skilled individuals return to the workplace, enabling them to utilise their existing skills, which has had the added benefit of helping to bridge a skills gap in some areas.

EY Reconnect: EY are launching two new phases of their EY Reconnect programme for career returners, providing a bridge for professionals re-entering the workplace after an extended career break. The 12-week programme offers a supported route back into work with induction, coaching from Women Returners, and mentoring for talented individuals who have had a career break of between 2 and 10 years. This is an opportunity for individuals to reconnect with their careers, previous experience and expertise within business. EY Reconnect offers roles across assurance, tax, transaction and people advisory business areas. Applications are open now for their April 2019 and September 2019 intakes. At the end of the 12 weeks, all participants will be considered for ongoing roles with EY. They are happy to discuss flexible working requirements.

Getting Back to Business Programme: The Getting Back to Business Programme is specifically designed to look past the reasons why you took a career break and to provide all the support you need to feel confident returning to the workplace.
The seven-week training course ensures that candidates build upon their existing skills and knowledge whilst getting the opportunity to gain industry recognised certifications to be fully prepared to succeed in the corporate world. Upon completion of training, returners will work on exciting projects as an FDM consultant with one or more of FDM’s prestigious clients across multiple sectors including banking, finance, retail and energy for a minimum of two years. New Horizons Returner Programme: Since 2016 Fidelity has run six successful returner programmes within Technology & Operations, Investments, Financial Planning and Customer Services. Their programmes offer a paid placement of 20 weeks with the possibility of an ongoing role at the end. The ReEntry program: J.P. Morgan recognises that rewarding careers do not always follow a conventional route and values the diversity, fresh perspective and wealth of experience that returning professionals can bring. The ReEntry program comprises a 14 week training experience, designed to help highly accomplished individuals who have taken a voluntary career break for at least two years return to the workforce full-time. Through hands-on experience, mentorship and intensive coaching, participants develop leading industry knowledge and insight to return to work with ease, and prepare for their long-term career. The goal is to place high performing participants who successfully complete the program into full-time positions with the firm.

Morgan Stanley’s Return to Work programme is an opportunity for individuals looking to re-engage in their chosen profession. During the 12-week paid internship, participants are placed in businesses that complement their skills and experience. Upon completion of the programme, participants may receive an offer of employment. Year-round, Morgan Stanley also invites career returners to apply to open vacancies. Active support is provided upon hiring to enable returners to relaunch their careers and reintegrate into the workplace.

O2 is a mobile network operator and the principal commercial brand of Telefónica UK Limited, which is part of the global telecommunications group Telefónica S.A, headquartered in Spain and operating in Europe, and North, Central and South America.

Career Returners: In 2016, O2 set out to find and nurture the untapped pool of talent standing at the school gates by launching a Career Returners programme, in partnership with Women Returners. The paid programme is designed to help both men and women who have taken career breaks to re-enter the workplace at their own pace, supported through one-on-one mentoring and regular training sessions which focus on enhancing their existing skillset.
