Boom! You’re back. If you’ve taken a career break and are now ready for a full-colour – but not necessarily full-time – return, Deloitte’s Return to Work Programme is for you. At Deloitte, value is measured through impact, not hours spent behind a desk. They don’t see part-time as part commitment. Their Return to Work programme is about helping you rebuild your career in a way that works for you. Talk to Deloitte about finding your way back.
“Deloitte passionately recognises there is a pool of untapped female talent, who struggle to get back to their careers.” Charlotte Blyton, Associate Director, Tax (Deloitte Return to Work alumnus and Timewise Power 50 winner).
Find your way back
Perhaps you’ve been exploring the world, or spending time with your family, or just needed some time out. Whatever the reason, if you’ve taken a career break of two years or more, Deloitte’s Return to Work programme is made for you. All they ask is that prior to your break you had at least five years’ experience in professional services (or similar relevant industry experience) including a minimum of two years in a similar position to the role you wish to apply for.
25 weeks of support – and a potential career opportunity
The Return to Work programme runs four days a week, and for 25 weeks. It’s starting in mid-September 2018, with a further start date in January 2019. Open to anyone who’s taken a career break of two years or more, it’s designed to refresh your knowledge and skills and boost your professional confidence. And it could lead to an exciting career opportunity with the firm.
Whatever you’ve been up to, Deloitte knows it will have enriched who you are and what you can offer their clients and their business. This is about giving you the time and support you need to readjust and redevelop your skills.
You’ll benefit from a comprehensive induction to the firm, technical skills training, coaching and on-the-job project and client experience, as well as the chance to work with some of the most inspiring people in business – not least your fellow returners from this, and previous, cohorts.
Over 90% of the people who joined the programme last year have now transitioned into a permanent or contract role with the firm. So this could be your chance to reboot your career, your way.
“The opportunities are here at Deloitte. If you want it, and you deliver, you can progress as far as you like.” Charlotte Blyton
