About Clark Holt
Clark Holt is a niche business law firm, set up in November 1995 with the objective of being a completely different sort of law firm. Nearly all of the employees come from City firms or large regional practices, and they believed, and still believe, that a small team of highly-experienced lawyers can provide a much better, friendlier and cost-effective service than most larger firms. There are 24 lawyers and support staff in total within the firm, working in the areas of Commercial/IP/IT Law, Commercial Property and Corporate Law. More than half of its solicitors, and all three of its departments, are ranked as Leading Lawyers by Chambers Guide, the leading objective annual guide to the legal profession – one of the highest proportions in the UK.
Clark Holt has one of the largest specialist corporate teams in the area and has developed a strong reputation for its commercial, pro-active and responsive approach on transactional matters. It has an impressive and diverse client base and can offer an excellent quality of work in a supportive and professional environment. It has one open-plan office in Swindon, with good road (M4) and rail access. For more information see the Clark Holt website.
Clark Holt will offer a competitive salary, pension contributions, PHI, BUPA and life cover. They expect their lawyers to time-record, but have no hours or billing targets. They rely on a team ethos for their success.
Please send your CV and a covering letter (mentioning Women Returners) to the firm’s Practice Manager, Claire Lane (firstname.lastname@example.org). Apply as soon as possible as this is a currently open role.
