Balfour Beatty Returners Programme

Applications for the 2017 programme are now closed

We are partnering with Balfour Beatty, the UK thought leader in Construction and Infrastructure, to launch the first Balfour Beatty Returners Programme which will start on 24 April 2017. They are inviting applications from female and male professionals who have been on a voluntary career break of two or more years. The paid programme will run for 21 weeks, with a view to successful candidates joining the business in permanent roles. Opportunities are UK wide and Balfour Beatty has project sites in locations including London, Cumbria, Kent, Midlands, Manchester, Gloucester, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

What are they offering?

You will be working as part of a team on one of their flagship projects if you are site-based in a technical role, or within one of their Head Offices if the role is more functional. Throughout your time with them you will have the support of a Balfour Beatty mentor/buddy as well as on-going coaching support from Women Returners. You will have the opportunity to develop new relationships and new skills.

You should be available for the duration of the programme and able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week. While the role will be based in a fixed location, you should be flexible on planned travel for coaching and workshops.
