About Bailoran Solicitors
Bailoran Solicitors was founded in 2013 to provide people with a friendly, no nonsense and commercial approach to resolving their legal issues.
Based in West Yorkshire they act for businesses, company directors and individuals specialising in:
- Dispute Resolution
- Company & Personal Insolvency
- Company & Commercial Law
- Debt Recovery
Bailoran believes that all clients deserve exceptional levels of client care and their mission is to ensure their legal solutions place clients in a better position than prior to instruction.
Why choose Bailoran?
Bailoran are a friendly, supportive and forward thinking practice who are proud to have been shortlisted for Best Small Law Firm in 2017 & 2018 at the prestigious Yorkshire Legal Awards.
They are equally proud of being corporate partners of The Children’s Heart Surgery Fund Charity and get involved in as much fund raising as possible for this great cause.
Bailoran provides full time support staff alongside offering remote/flexible/part time working. Despite consultants not always working from the Leeds office, Bailoran makes every effort to ensure colleagues feel part of the business, encouraging meeting up whenever practicalities allow. This may be in a professional capacity at one of their Quarterly Business Updates or socially at a works night out or activity day.
The Bailoran offices are based in the family friendly suburb of Chapel Allerton in Leeds. Just off the main Harrogate Road, there are great road connections to Leeds City Centre and the motorway network. Currently a team of six, their ten-man office has free parking and is just a couple of minutes walk from the bustling shops and businesses at the heart of Chapel Allerton.

What are Bailoran looking for?
Bailoran is looking to strengthen their team of specialists. They require confident, enthusiastic, self-motivated people who will enhance their goal to provide excellent legal service and care for their clients. Prior to your legal career break (of 12 months or more), you will have had experience in one of the following areas: Dispute Resolution, Company and Personal Insolvency, Company & Commercial Law or Debt Recovery.
What are Bailoran offering?
The Bailoran model is based on hiring consultants rather than a traditional employee approach. The role is not salaried and remuneration is based on a fee share of earnings upon payment of invoices by the client.
Bailoran promote part-time and/or other forms of flexible working. Remote working is also offered. Their model is therefore ideal for those looking to return to work but who are unable to commit to a traditional full time employee role within a law firm on a 9 to 5 basis.
As part of the 6-month returnship, you will also have an internal mentor to guide you through your transition, a day-to-day buddy for general questions and you will participate in the Career Returners Coaching Programme by Women Returners. The coaching is delivered in a cohort and as such you will benefit from a peer support group locally in Leeds.
